Identity
The brief
Joan cooks a menu that changes with the market, and his old laminated cards were lying about it. He wanted print that could keep up with the kitchen — reset weekly, without looking disposable.
What we made
- An identity built on typography alone: one serif, one sans, no mark shouting over the food
- Weekly menus on heavy ivory stock, designed to be typeset in-house in an afternoon
- Business cards with hand-painted burnt-orange edges, which guests now steal at a rate Joan describes as 'flattering but expensive'
