Identity
The brief
Empar and her brothers made better wine every year, wearing labels a cousin drew in the nineties. They didn't want a rebrand so much as a face that finally matched the fruit — and it had to run on the small offset press two villages over.
What we made
- A wordmark drawn from the lettering on the cellar's 1954 door lintel
- Blind-embossed cream labels — texture instead of ink, orange wax for the reserve
- A range system the press can print in two passes, no foils, no excuses
The labels won a regional packaging prize the same autumn, which pleased everyone except Empar, who maintains the wine did the winning.
